Fuzzy Critters

A home is not complete unless a fuzzy critter is wandering around checking on each member of the family. KC is far more the most kid-friendly kitty I have ever met. She loves her girls and responds to each one differently. Celeste is her snuggler, the one she talks to about her feelings. KC and Celeste could hold a conversation with varying meows and chirps. KC even tattletales on Celeste if she sneaks into the hallway after bedtime.

Savannah and KC have a playful relationship. If Savannah runs anywhere in the house, KC will most certainly be running after her trying to catch her heels. I should probably feel bad sometimes when I would send Savannah to play chase with KC just to remove her from anybody else. KC is a good sport. She will play along.

Sierra and KC have an understanding for their relationship. Sierra was only 2 when KC was adopted. KC was like another toy to love, hug, squeeze, smother…Needless to say, KC would run or scratch Sierra for self-preservation. Lately KC will keep Sierra company in her room where she is playing and she will occasionally share a blanket. Sierra has been applying what I have taught her about kittys so she is much gentler and KC is not overly concern about her being close.

Now the relationship between KC and Jared have been interesting to watch because Jared has never liked cats. KC was a situation adoption – she had nowhere else to go at 6 months old. Jared had to learn to like her and she made that not a problem. Jared has only known cats to be mean, narcissistic, and fraidy. KC, on the other hand, proved herself a wonderful cat just with the relationship with the girls and the occasional curling up on a warm blanket next to him.
